Do you offer a free measure?

Yes, We come to you. After a short phone consultation we arrange a free measure with one of our friendly staff. We are a family business that treats every customer with respect. Each door is custom measured and manufactured.

Do you have a mobile showroom?

We have a showroom on wheels ready to come to your property to discuss the best security options in Perth.

Do you deliver and install?

We install all of our own products with our own trained and authorised staff. At Louies we pride ourselves on our workmanship and customer follow up.

What areas do you cover?

We are providing the Perth Metro Area and surrounds with what we believe are the strongest security screens around.

Where are the doors made?

Our manufacturing headquarters are based in North Perth at Greenwood and have been our manufacturing hub for over 50 years. All doors are custom made.

I have a bad door jamb, can you fit a security screen?

We can repair the door jamb and re-enforce to ensure the installation of the new security screen is not compromised.

Do you have a showroom?

We welcome you to our Showroom. It is 20 minutes north of the Perth CBD at 12 Canham Way Greenwood. We can even show you the doors being made. Alternatively we can come to you.

Do your products have a warranty?

We proudly make Amplimesh Security Products which we believe are the best security door and screens available. They come with a 10 year warranty and Lockwood hardware has a 25 year warranty. Warranty cards are supplied on each professional installation.

What colours do you offer?

Over +400 colours and finishes available, we can colour match or offer you unique finishes such as Timber on Aluminium known as DecoWood.

What is a triple lock?

A triple lock is a security door lock. To activate you flick the snib just like you would on any normal door lock, but in this instance, it activates 3 locking points at once. It locks the top, the middle and the bottom. A triple lock is required on all Security Doors and comes standard with all Security Screens.

Do you supply Security Screens to Commercial Properties?

We can fit our security screens onto Industrial Estates, Schools, Train Stations, Health Centres, Defence Facilities. Discuss your project with one of our friendly staff.

Do you sell spare parts?

We have a Security and Fly Screen repair and spare parts division and have access to Roll Track. Take a photo of the part you are chasing and email it through, alternatively give us a call and we will try and assist.

I live in a Bushfire area, Do you have a Security Screen for me?

Yes, You can use Amplimesh product SupaScreen up to BAL-40 regions.

I live in Cyclonic region, Do you have a Security Screen for me?

Yes, you can use Amplimesh product SupaScreen once a determination has been made on the required wind speed for your project.

Do all your Security Products meet the Australian standard?

All our products come tested & certified by Amplimesh Security Screens which is backed by Capral Aluminium.

How many Joules have your products been tested for?

A joule is an impact, Amplimesh product SupaScreen Detention range has been tested to withstand 24,000 joules of force over a series of 48 impacts making it the king of security screens for multi impact protection. This performance is why we exclusively make Amplimesh Security products.

How do I care and maintain the good looks of my new screen?

In order to preserve the original appearance of your security screen, we recommend you clean it regularly. This can be done by wiping with a soft sponge, clean water and a small amount of detergent. Thoroughly wash off any residue of detergent to prevent any deterioration of the coating. Alternatively, use a micro fibre cloth with water. Do not use any abrasive household cleaners as this could damage the paint surface of the door, just as it would a car.

Can I have a pet door is my screen door?

Yes we can accommodate pet door requests. This will make the product a safety door not a security door.

Do you fit security doors to the laundry?

All the time, it is an opening so from a home insurance point of view it is a good idea to screen. It is also a great ventilation tool when using the dryer.

Where does the Aluminium come from?

Majority of the Aluminium used in the Amplimesh SupaScreen and IntrudaGuard range is extruded right here in Australia and distributed by Capral Aluminium.
